Well, taking Ein was a mistake. I have never seen so many people packed into a small area and I've been on the JR train!
I'm pretty sure in all my years going I've never seen so many people there. Next year we'll have to plan on Sunday. Ein was miserable. He was afraid of getting run over by strollers and every small child wanted to pet him. People almost stepped on him like 90 times. Ugh. I hate crowds like that.
Anyway, I was wearing this:
Until I realized it was colder than I thought so I switched to this:
I'm so glad I'm rained in today!

Spring?
We had a surge of Spring this week and AZ forgot that Phil had seen his shadow this year and we were still owed six more weeks of winter. Well the Spring has since vanished and I awoke this morning to total cloud cover. It's not raining yet; that's expected for late tonite/tomorrow. The sun is supposed to poke its head out around noon which is good because I planned to take Ein, my data dog, to the Matsuri Festival. I love taking him because the おたく go nuts. They love him. Well, he is famous.
Those are Lucky Brand jeans. You know those ridiculously overpriced status jeans for chicks. They're like new and I got them at Goodwill for about $5. Take that, you high end boutiques! In fact, I often find Lucky jeans there just not often in my size so that's my first pair. Yay for Goodwill!
Since the weather was nice I pulled from my summer mags:

Here's Monday's...
I don't know how much I'll actually be wearing J-fashion this week. It's a weird week and makes me not wanna dress up.
How many fails can you count?
If you said 2, you're correct. First, the boots are too big, stupid online boots. Second, the tights ripped sometime during the day. It was the first time I wore them too! Ugh! I guess it's okay because they're blue and I wanted black. Both online ordering fails!
Anyway, inspired by this:
Oh, I'm good.

A week of J-Style + 1...
I wore this stuff like two weeks ago but haven't put them up because I was waiting to scan my inspirations. I just scanned the two big ones even though I got many other minor inspirations from my Winter Japanese mags.
Monday:
The only thing at bought for this is the sweater at Goodwill, of course. Had everything else. The kitty pin is from my first Japan trip in 2006.

Thursday:
I've wanted a flannel tunic style top since I saw one in the summer J-mags. Found this one at Wal-Mart for $8!

I liked this page:
Then I found this dress on clearance at Target, $12! I combined different outfits on the page to make my own:

Friday:
I was so sick but had to get dressed up. Boo. I think the socks peeking out of the boots makes this J-esque. I've seen a lot of that in J-mags.
Monday next:
Amy called me preppy. The pants tied like that were huge in Japan in the summer mags and it still shows up in the winter mags. Sweet!
That's all for now.
