The week begins...

Plus a look inside my closets.  (You heard me...closets.)

Monday:

Top from H&M, tank from Goodwill and necklace from Kohl's.

Tuesday:

Sweater and ruffled tank from Apartment Market in Japan, necklace from Payless.

Now onto the reason you're all here.  I have three closets, yes, three.

The rarely used in AZ coat closet:

The main closet view 1 (skirts and pants):

Main closet view 2 (tops):

Dress closet (primarily full of vintage I rarely wear anymore):

It's kind of hard to tell but all of closets are organized by color.

No you may not see how many shoes I have.  :o

I think the first step...

Is admitting you have a problem.  Well, I'll admit it.  I have a shopping problem but at least I'm doing it frugally and not going crazygonuts right?  That makes it better right?  Is there a 12-step program for this?  Screw it.  I don't want one.  Went to Payless today.  Bashas' was nice enough to give me a 20% coupon after I bought a boat load of cereal there one day.  So in addition to BOGO, I saved 20%.  Can you seen why I couldn't resist?

And they look so cute on too.  Of course, my immediate gratification mind doesn't think about the possibility of moving to Japan and not being able to take 50+ pairs of shoes.  My stupid head doesn't think that.

My BOGO item was a $3 clearance necklace which was $1.50 as a BOGO and the coupon took off about $5 so my total price for two items was less than the price of the shoes.  Go supershopper!

Retail therapy...

It's been a busy week so I haven't posted every single day but here are my clothes for this week.

There was no way my face wanted to look good in either picture so...cropped off.  Dress from Goodwill.

No joke, I haven't worn this white "Present" shirt since I bought in in Japan.  So until Tuesday, it had never been worn in America, sad to break a streak like that.  Anyway, bow necklace (2010), gray vest and "Present" shirt all from Japan 2009.

You really have no idea how much I love this set from Japan 2010.  A hair poof, a bow and a cute pose just makes the outfit that much more adorable.  :D  (Lucky Jeans from Goodwill)

For reasons I don't want to get into on a fashion blog, I had a bit of shitty week.  So while reading Moments Like Diamonds, I decided I too needed some retail therapy.  So off to H&M and it's pretty affordable for being in Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Can I just say, thanks H&M for oversized shirts in abundance!  You make a girl with insecurities feel less insecure.  Hello Kitty shirt and cool dark patterned shirt, both oversized.  Ridiculously awesome oversized bow necklace.

Long gray stripey number and polka dot sweater shirt.

This oversized cardigan is actually what I went in for.  What do you think of this?  Does it look good on me?  Please don't be distracted by my shorty short shorts.

End new week...

I love this outfit and that these shoes make my feet look tiny!  This is the first time I've worn the necklace I bought at Kohl's to go with my browns.  It coordinates excellently!  The sweater which is not only cute but supercomfortable!  It's from YesStyle.

More Chuck love.  Irregular hem sweater from Goodwill and shoes and socks from Japan.  Chuck Norris from Badassville.

I wanted to show you a close up of the shoes.

Apparently lace shoes are really in right now.  Who knew?  I just bought 'em because they were cute and they fit (which sometimes can be a rarity in Japan).  Apparently, my Japanese letter shoe size is LL.  :/

New week...

New week, new clothes to show you.  (Not that I bought new clothes.  Okay, I did but in my defense I had another $10 free from Kohl's.  I love them.  And also it was Sale Day at Goodwill.  I mostly bought stuff for the house and not clothes this time.  Crazy right?)

I was excited to wear this yellow tank because, well, I got it at Goodwill supercheap and it has polka dots which I love but never seem to have much of.  The overshirt is from Japan and the shoes are from Charlotte Russe.  My superfriend, Rachel, bought them for me.  I call them my Khloe shoes because they totally look like shoes Khloe Kardashian would wear.

The next outfit I adore!  <3  The top (all one piece) is from Japan and I'm sporting my Fergie shoes.  If you click on the pic to enlarge you should get a glimpse of my blinged bow necklace.  My friend, Kiko, bought it for me in Japan since my card was frozen on the day we went to Shibuya 109.  So unfortunate!  (But probably for the best since I couldn't go nuts there!)  You may be surprised to know that it was only frozen because some earlier debits hadn't processed yet and not because I ran out of money.  Go me!

(Props for a picture with my homeboy Chuck Norris.  Also, props for me looking super skinny!)

I'm having problems with outfits lately which means I should probably plan the night before.  I have something in my head and then for some reason or the other I don't like it when I put it on.  It eats up so much time in the morning.  No way am I getting up an earlier than the dreaded 6AM.  Hopefully, I'll get into the clothes groove soon so I can effortlessly put outfits together.

Back in fashion!

My feets are killing me!  And I've been wearing flats the past two days!

It's good to be back in fashion and since my hair is getting longer, I'm feeling prettier!

How do I love this outfit?  Let me count the ways.

The dress type thing is all one piece from the fashionably advanced Japan.  The sweater which I horribly snagged on Wednesday is from Target.  I'm sure I'll wear it again.  I mean it's noticeable primarily to anal retentive me.  What a dumb thing to do!  Even though it was totally by accident.

I'm not so sure if I like the culottes with this outfit after all (maybe leggins next time?), but for some odd reason I got in the shower really late and was a bit rushed.  The top (a Goodwill find) I adore and even though that was a hellish day at Goodwill, I'm glad I at least walked away with it.  There's a black tank layered under it as well.

*Remember, J-style preaches layers!*

I am so excited to model all my *new* J-clothes!

Holy crap!

JStyle had a birthday and I completely missed it!  (Probably because I was in Japan or whatever.)

JStyle turned a year old on June 27th, 2010!

Happy Birthday JStyle!

Clean!

So I had been following a lot of blogs I haven't been reading.  I just corrected that problem and stopped following a number of blogs I lost interest in and/or haven't been updated in AGES!  I also found some blogs I had been following have vanished.  In addition to the big subtract I did a big add today.  I added a number of blogs about life in Japan.  I can't wait to read them!

A little over a week to new JStyle!
