Slacking...

So yeah I have two outfits from last week that I never got around to posting.  Here they are!

Some of my pics are blurry lately.  I don't like that.  So I can't remember the day but you're looking at an entire outfit from Kohl's.  Srsly.  Necklace Lia Sophia.

Party...

Yesterday was my friend Rachel's birthday party.  Her birthday is actually today.  She wanted to go to this biker bar but that was no reason for me not to look cute.  ;)

 

I was inspired but a very similar outfit in a Japanese mag.  Top Kohl's, tank H&M, shorts Wal-Mart, shoes Fergalicious and necklace from the now out of business Zizibeh.  My poor hair which started off way cute was super flat by the end of the night.  Curse my superstraight hair!

Back in style...

Well, my J★Style style is starting off small.  Hopefully, soon I'll be able to be more stylish and fashionable.  I feel so apprehensive about the one who hates tattoos seeing my now rather large chest piece.  I even went so far as to hold papers up to my chest to hide it when I accidentally ran into said person today.  It's stressing me out!  Anyway, the tattoo was out and proud today.

What's wrong with my face?!?!?  Anyway, dress from Goodwill (Old Navy brand), leggins Wal-Mart and necklace Lia Sophia.  I can't remember where the shoes are from but they are Qupid brand.

In other news my feet are killing me!  I wore wedges Tuesday night, epic heels yesterday and downgraded to low heels today and I am not used to wearing anything but flippy floppies ergo ow!  I feel like I'm walking on pins and needles.  So I guess I'll have to get used to shoes again.  Boo!

In beauty news I picked up Mabelline Falsies Flared mascara today.

I tried it out today but I had other mascara on already so I can't yet give an accurate account of how it worked.

Fall preview...

Here's what's hot for fall.  I've noticed a lot of fall colors, think of when the leaves change colors (well not in AZ but elsewhere).  In addition, 1960s style dresses are quite popular (so I bought a 1960s pattern).

End of summer wear...

My summer is over.  I am sad but I am looking forward to fall fashion which I'll preview soon.  :)

Who doesn't love them?  I know this blogger loves shoes like no other so I'm always excited to talk about shoes.  I wanted to feature some shoe trends for fall.  I know, is it almost fall?  Where did my summer go?  I'm actually quite excited for the fall trends as I noticed some things haven't changed and I don't need to replace those styles but I still need a reason to buy shoes right?  ;)

Fall shoe trends:

Oxfords.  I am still searching for a pair of black low-heeled oxfords (as I have high heeled ones that aren't comfortable at all).  This is the shoe that eluded me last season and I hope hope hope I can find the perfect pair this season.

Ankle boots and wedges.  Fortunately, I have a pair of wedges already but I don't have and really love the lace-up ankle boot trend.  It started to show it in blogs at the end of last season and all the styles I liked were ridiculously expensive (like over $100) so maybe this season with the abundance I can find an affordable pair.
