Monday madness...

This is Monday's outfit.  I was trying to bring in fall weather by wearing fall clothes.  Although I tried it on before wearing it, it didn't seem to photograph well.  As I look at it today, I decided that I don't really like it.  So, I put it here as a learning experience.

 

LOL face.  Tank Goodwill, sweater Target, shoes Target brand from eBay, skirt Forever 21, necklace Lia Sophia.  Note to self: always wear these shoes with socks.  I gots mad blisters.  :(

Thankfully, my job doesn't require me to wear a suit and tie (though I wouldn't really object to uniforms).  I think my outfits look nice but dress code for women is so subjective.

Dinner in Japan...

Well not really but the dress is from Japan. It's my birthday weekend since my birthday is on a stupid weekday. Boo.

Anyway, dinner with the fam at the delicious Cheesecake Factory.

Here's what I wore:

A simple tee dress sure but I think think the details make it special. Of course, there's the obvious Engrish. What's it trying to say?!?!? Then the back border print. I finished it with Kohl's wedges and a Lia Sophia necklace. Happy Birthday to me.

I'm in love...

With these boots I can't afford. :'(

 

Birthday present?

Week so far...

So despite having a perfectly crap week, I at least managed to look nice.

Monday:

This was not the original tank but the other one made me look like a chunky money. Tank and skirt Goodwill, overshirt YesStyle, shoes eBay, necklace Lia Sophia and socks Kohl's (which had a hole before I even wore them).

Tuesday:

I don't know if I like this outfit. Dress, skirt and tank Goodwill, shoes Kohl's, necklace made by me and Forever 21.

Wednesday:

I didn't think this outfit was that great but I got some compliments on it so it must not have been that bad.  Shirt from H&M, pants and scarf Kohl's and shoes ($7) from Payless.

I hope your week has been better than mine.

Deal of the day...

Yesterday I visited 3 Goodwills looking for a specific kind of shoes for Halloween. Well I didn't find a pair but I did find these:

I'm usually not a fan of pointy boots but fur boots! Yes! Guess how much? $5 And no that's not a typo. So hopefully I can wear them with little discomfort.

Two-shirt Thursday...

Today for reasons I won't get into here I had to wear two shirts today. Coincidentally they are both from Forever 21.

Both as I said are from Forever 21, leggins Kohl's, tank Goodwill and shoes eBay.

Today was a good day...

Today I wore all black because it was Blackout Day.

Shirt and skirt Target, necklace Lia Sophia and boots eBay.

Also, today Sea got a big box from her mom.  In that box was a JJ magazine, lipgloss and a Chanel box with nail polish which her mom gave me.  How nice!

 

I've never read JJ before but it was great!  So many great fashion ideas in there!  I hope you all had a great day too.  :)

Wednesday woes...

I am so tired today.

Today I didn't wear anything too spectacular but I debuted the glasses today amid many compliments which I hope were heartfelt.

Top Forever 21, jeans Kohl's, tank Wal-Mart and boots Zizibeh.

I ran out of the house so fast I forgot a necklace!

Tuesday happiness...

Today I had to take about 100 pics of my outfit to find one to settle on even though the pic isn't all that great, I think.

Better news came when Wal-Mart called me saying my glasses were ready!

I feel stylish!

Today I felt super cute and I really love the outfit I put together!

 

With the exception of the tank which is from Goodwill, this entire outfit is from Kohl's.  :)

I really like how my bangs turned out.  Happy Monday!
