Love...

Well, it just goes to show you that you can have a complete shit day and still look fabulous.  I love everything about this photo, my hair, my outfit and the fact that I look way skinny!

Tiger top from H&M, overshirt from XI, leggins from Kohl's and boots from Goodwill.  Fabulous hair by me.  :)

I wore some stuff this week...

Sunday, I wore this to run some errands and to dinner at a friend's house:

Both tops are from Target but the Osaka top was a tee that I cut to be cuter and more flattering.

This is what I wore Monday:

The sweater is from H&M, tank from Love Junkie (Japan), leggins and boots from the Bay.  The necklace is the Forever 21 update I did here.

Today, I wore this:

And it was really fun to hear people shout "Hello Kitty!" at me all day.  Not quite sure what's wrong with my face and I hate my hair.  Supercute studded bow flats from Payless, Kitty top from H&M, tank from Kohl's and the pants I got a hundred years ago at some department store.  I think my mom bought them for me.  That's how old they are!

Well, off to continue my SoA marathon!  Love that show!

Friday and the bay...

Friday I think I looked pretty cute, except for my face.  :(

I am really trying not to repeat outfits here but I wanted to feature this because I've worn it before and it's pretty much my favorite shirt ever.  Shirt from Japan, boots from Kohl's and LC jeans from Goodwill.

I did some lite shopping on the Bay today.  I got these:

I am super excited about both pieces and I can't wait to coordinate them!

Well, I'm off to catch up on my TV shows.

Wednesday/Thursday...

I am beyond exhausted but here's what I wore the rest of this week.

Wednesday:

Both tops and shoes from Target.  Leggins from Kohl's.  The skirt I made.  It was a top originally and it was too big so I made it into a skirt.  :)

Thursday:

Cool weather rolled in last night so I got to wear something resembling winter wear.  Yay!  Tank from Love Junkie (Japan), sweater from Forever 21 and leggins and boots from eBay.

Daughter and I carved pumpkins tonite.  Mine's the one on the left.  :)

 Nite!

Monday/Tuesday...

This week has been difficult which sucks because it's only Tuesday!

Here's Monday:

Dress and sweater from Japan 2009, shoes 2010.  Necklace from Zizibeh and leggins from Kohl's.  Hair flower from Forever 21.

Tuesday:

Shoes and sweater from Target.  Tank and skirt from Goodwill.  Necklace from JCPenny.  (My legs look so pasty!)

I'm trying to add a splash of color to my darker outfits.  How did I do?

Some Fall looks I ♥...

Since I've been sick and haven't felt like wearing much more than jammies my posts have obviously been lacking.  I am in the process of working on a new skirtdrobe.  This means I'll be transforming dresses that I don't wear into skirts I will.  I am excited about this.  No shopping required for new clothes!

Anyway, here are some Fall looks I love:

The birthday love keeps coming!

Ok so I'm sick.  And to make matters worse it's my vacation.  There's nothing worse than being sick when you don't have to work.  It's like a big eff you from the universe.  Thanks universe.

Anyway, I took Kiki to San Tan so she could meet her friend.  Turns out her friend's mom wanted meet me.  Is this a normal mom thing?  I wouldn't know I guess.  This is my first time as a mom.  :)

Since we had some time to kill we looked around Forever 21.  Kiki got me a gift card to there for my birthday.  :D  The only problem is that I didn't feel like shopping.  (What kind of sickness is this?!?!?)  I found one necklace and then did laps around store.  I did try on a sweater but even though it was cute I didn't like it.  :(  Definitely not a shopping day for me.

Here is the necklace:

And here's what I did to it:

I had this heart necklace forever.  The problem was that is was short and I never liked it with anything so it sat in my jewelry box.  Well I took the charms off and my goal was to attach the three charm sets to a single strand necklace.  How excited was I when I found this three strand necklace!  It was perfect and now I have a superlong necklace.  I love it.

病気 & nostalgia...

Hi dolls.

I have been sick the past couple days.  This kinda sucks because I am hoping to take a mini road trip up north with Kiki later this week.  So right now I am resting and hoping to get better.  I do need to go to the store late to get some soup and soup stuff.

I did get this shirt from eBay that I wanted to show you.

(Do my fingers look fat?)  It's one of them burnout tees which I love but never knew what to call them.  My sister used to have the Barbie and the Rockers stage playset.

So this shirt having this shirt stirs some nostalgia in me.  I plan on decking out the shirt when I feel better.

Military chic + extras...

What the heck is wrong with my dashboard?  The thumbs are gigantic!

I wanted to post all day but I haven't felt well.  I've been in and out of dizzy spells since about 3:30PM.  :(

So this is the cool Caboodles case I got for supercheap yesterday.  I think everything fits in there nicely and folded up it looks like a briefcase.  Fancy!

Today, I rocked the J-trendy military look.  I got a couple compliments on the outfit though I don't know how genuine they actually were considering the source.  Someone asked me if I was wearing a boy scout uniform.  Um...no.  Anyway, I had considered a black skirt and green top but then I remembered that I had this army colored skirt that I braved Savers (complete with a puking child) for.  For some reason this top makes me look busty and I like it!  Military style top from Forever 21.  Necklace from Kohl's.

Finally, I forgot about these cute socks my grandparents got me for my birthday.  Sure, socks are a staple of the grandparent gift world but I really think these are cute.

I have to crash in hopes that my dizzy spells will subside long enough for me to make it through the short day tomorrow.  Then, what joy, a whole week off!

Pro...no?

Here's today's (professional) outfit.  See I look decent when I actually think about what to wear.  I state again I really need to start picking out outfits the night before.

Two piece set and necklace from Kohl's.

Later, Kiki and I went to dinner and I wore my new boots.

Tops from Goodwill, necklace from Kohl's and boots from the eBay.

I got a Caboodles organizer at Ulta.  I had a coupon and it was on sale.  Win!  Pictures later!

Tee love...

So today I barely made it out the door this morning.  I wanted to wear my new boots but the problem is I don't really have anything that goes with them.

This is what I ended up with:

I wasn't too keen on it anyway and to make matters worse I was evaluated today and marked down for appearance as "too casual" and "not professional."  I think it's because of the tee.  I mean it's clearly a t-shirt.  I didn't get a chance to ask and will have to do it tomorrow.

Bad news aside.  Now on to the fun!  These are the two tees I did up all fancy like:

You can see the original here.  That was the pesky skull that just wouldn't stick.  I had to use tweezers and superpress that sucker back on.  I hope it stays on.

Next, this is one of the Kohl's tops I bought yesterday.

Before:

After:

I sewed on some lace and blinged that sucker.  I think it's so cute!  The star went on much better than the skull.  (P.S. - The shirts aren't spotty.  It's just water I sprayed on to take out ironing creases.)

Thanks to さらまり for the inspiration!

Birthday haul!

Here's a picture from Cheesecake last night:

Top and overshirt from Japan.  I ripped them jeans myself!

For my birthday, I decided to spend some of my birthday money at Kohl's since my super wonderful friend Beth gave me a $10 coupon.

This is what I came home with:

Chain tee that I will be blingin' later and cute tee and vest set.

Supercheap and comfy boots (dog not from Kohl's).

$6 necklace and $3 bow earrings.

Total ludicrous savings:

Total spent: approximately $35.  I win x 1000000.

I got these shirt decals at Michael's and used half off coupons for them too!

I put the skull and a couple of stars on one shirt just now.  さらまり didn't mention how damn difficult they are.  About half the skull pieces came off and I had to tweezer and super press them back on.  I only hope they are on till infinity now.  The little stars went on fine.  I only hope the big star works better than the skull.  :(

Pictures of the shirts later.

P.S. - Here's my birthday gift from Sephora.

Birthday weekend!

I am three days behind in my posts!  It's my birthday weekend so I have been superbusy with dinners and parties and shopping!

Friday (party wear):

Friday was my friend Todd's 40th so that is what I wore to the party.

Saturday (dinner wear):

My friend Beth's birthday was also Friday so we had a dinner at her house to celebrate both birthdays.  Both tops from Kohl's.  Rock 'n' roll necklace from JC Penny.

Today (Catfish wear):

Yikes no make up!  And no hair did!  Kiki and I went to see Catfish today.  If you have any online presence you MUST see this movie.

We did a little shopping afterward and I bought these with my birthday money from Dad.

Bows from Hot Topic (obviously) and the really looooooooong necklace from a store called Zizibeh in Tempe Marketplace.  I never knew about it before but they have lots of cute J-Style clothes supercheap so we'll be back for sure.  The necklace was $5!  Win!

Now I have to get ready to go to Cheesecake for dinner with the fam!  So exciting!
